My project is titled The Impact of Occupational Therapy Interventions on Children with Disabilities. The purpose of this research is to see how occupational therapy interventions have an effect on children with disabilities attitudes and social skills. I will be using The Ultimate Guide to Play: Language and Friendship intervention for my research. I came up with this project because I wanted to focus on occupational therapy because I’ve been interested in working in that field for a while now and wanted to see how I felt about it. I am most excited to see how the research plays out and watching the progress made overtime when the children are exposed to the intervention. I’m curious to see if it’ll work and if it doesn’t, I am curious to see how I could approach it differently to see an effect.
